We're packaging some oddly shaped electronic components that tend to tip over on standard pallets because of the gaps between the deck boards. I've been trying to find something with a solid top surface so the boxes sit flat without needing extra cardboard or plywood sheets underneath. Someone mentioned a flat medium duty pallet might work but every time I search for that term I still end up with pallets that have ridges or gaps, just slightly smaller than normal. Is there such a thing as a fully smooth top plastic pallet that still has forklift access from all four sides? I don't need heavy duty capacity, maybe 500kg max, but the flat surface is absolutely critical. I found one supplier online listing something they called a "solid deck" pallet but when I asked for a photo it still had little drainage slots. Totally fine if it's not 100% sealed, I just can't have holes big enough for a box corner to dip into. Has anyone actually found and used these for sensitive cargo? Would love to know where you got them and if they held up over time. Thanks.
