All across the United Kingdom, students are experiencing the strains of rising costs when they try to cover their everyday costs of living including things like rent/mortgage (if applicable), public transport, groceries, school supplies (books, stationery, etc), etc., because they are now having to pay much more than before.
Many are working multiple part-time jobs to try to make ends meet, and therefore, many are finding that they are spending less time socializing due to the increased cost of food/going out with friends. Because of this increased level of stress, academics and mental health will be negatively affected.
