Is Unicode Conversion Necessary for Managing Old Hindi Documents? - jamesanderson - 05-20-2026 During a recent project, I had to work with several old Hindi files that were originally typed using legacy fonts, and it quickly became difficult to use that content on modern websites and mobile devices because of compatibility issues. After searching for solutions, I found that converting krutidev to unicode is often recommended since Unicode text works much better across browsers, smartphones, and search engines without creating display errors.
