Finally found a workshop that didn't rip me off - lindsaykelly - 08-03-2026

I just wanted to share a positive experience for a change because I feel like we're always quick to complain but rarely give credit where it's due. I've been driving an older Nissan Altima for years and it's been a reliable car, but lately it started making this awful rattling noise from the engine bay that I was dreading getting checked out because I just assumed it would be something major and expensive. I took it to a place in Musaffah that a colleague recommended, and honestly I was bracing myself for a huge bill and a list of things that needed fixing. To my surprise, the mechanic took the time to properly diagnose the issue and it turned out to be a loose heat shield that was vibrating against the exhaust, nothing serious at all, and they fixed it on the spot for a very reasonable price. What really impressed me was that they didn't try to invent other problems or upsell me on unnecessary work, they just told me what was wrong, fixed it, and sent me on my way. It's such a relief to finally find somewhere honest after all the bad experiences I've had in the past with places that try to take advantage. I'm in the Musaffah area a lot for work, so it's great to finally have a genuine car workshop in Musaffah that I can actually trust. If anyone's looking for a reliable place that won't try to rip you off, I'd definitely recommend checking them out. Just wanted to share in case it helps someone else who's been struggling to find a decent workshop.
