Mastering Aion 2 Deus Research Base: New Mechanics, Rewards and U4N - JackWalker - 08-13-2026 The Deus Research Base has received one of the more meaningful endgame changes in the latest Aion 2 update. Players who are used to the older dungeon format will need to adjust their expectations, especially when managing Aion 2 Kinah for upgrades, crafting, and other progression costs. The Encroached version is not simply a harder copy of the old content. It changes the way groups move through the map and places much more pressure on combat positioning. At the same time, the improved rewards make it a worthwhile destination for players who want to build their Aion 2 Kinah reserves while chasing stronger equipment. Entry Requirements Set the Pace The first thing to check before forming a party is the entry requirement. Both available modes require Level 50. Exploration & Conquest requires an item level of 3,800, while Conquest Hard requires 4,500. These numbers create a natural progression path. Players can start with the lower requirement while improving their equipment, then move toward Hard mode once their build is strong enough. It is worth remembering that meeting the minimum does not necessarily mean the dungeon will feel comfortable. Players entering with only the required item level should expect the mechanics to matter considerably. Forget the Old Skip Strategies The new Conquest structure changes how the dungeon is cleared. Instead of allowing groups to ignore most of the trash, the expedition requires specific waves to be defeated. Those enemies contribute points, with the system allowing up to 150 total points. The final encounter zone cannot be unlocked until the necessary objective has been completed. For regular players, this is probably the biggest adjustment. The trash mobs are no longer just something between the entrance and the boss. They are part of the actual progression system. A coordinated group should therefore identify the required waves quickly and clear them without unnecessary detours. Hazard Awareness Is Essential The environmental mechanics make the new version even more demanding. Pink health-draining ooze puddles and rotating lightning pylons can create dangerous situations during almost every difficult encounter. The problem becomes worse when players are surrounded by aggressive mobs. A character can easily take heavy damage from both sources at the same time. This is why active movement is so important. Players should watch the floor, track the rotating hazards, and reposition before an area becomes unsafe. Standing still to maximize damage can be a poor trade if it results in a knockout. The dungeon rewards players who can combine damage output with good movement rather than focusing exclusively on character stats. New Equipment Gives Players a Reason to Farm The boss Atiel of Arrogance provides Level 108 Epic equipment, including weapons and armor. For players looking to push deeper into endgame content, these drops can provide meaningful upgrades. The Level 128 Lava Heart accessories are another major reward. Accessories can be difficult to replace efficiently, so having a dedicated endgame source gives players another clear farming goal. The reward system also extends into crafting. Philosopher's Stone: Authority is needed for high-end crafting and skill board progression, making it valuable even after a player has obtained useful equipment from the dungeon. Nemesis Progression Adds Long-Term Value Nemesis-class equipment is another part of the new progression route. Players can obtain important blueprints and crafting materials through the Deus Research Base. This means there is a reason to continue running the dungeon even after the immediate gear upgrades become less exciting. Each run can contribute toward a larger crafting goal. The potential Kinah payout also helps. A successful run can yield up to around 1.8 million Kinah, giving players a useful source of raw currency while they work on their character. Preparing for a Consistent Clear The best approach is to treat the expedition as a coordinated endgame activity. Check your item level before entering, learn which waves contribute to the point requirement, and make sure the party understands the environmental hazards. It is also important to avoid assuming that everyone should simply maximize damage. A player who moves well and stays alive can contribute more to a successful run than someone with slightly higher damage who repeatedly gets caught by hazards. Once players become familiar with the map and mechanics, the Encroached Deus Research Base can become a reliable source of Aion 2 Items and progression materials. The combination of equipment, accessories, crafting resources, and Kinah gives the dungeon a useful place in the endgame routine. For players who want to complete their setup faster, cheap Aion 2 Items can be another option when a particular drop refuses to appear. However, learning the new expedition is still worthwhile because its rewards cover several progression systems and can make regular endgame farming much more productive. |
